Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber claimed second place with Filippo Cettolin in stage three of the China Xizang Trans-Himalaya.

In the opening part of the race, Nikita Tsvetkov featured in the day’s breakaway. The stage then ended with a compact-group finish, where Cettolin took second place, beaten only by Davide Persico.

The team placed two more riders inside the Top 10: Luca Colnaghi finished fourth, while Filippo Magli took ninth place.

After stage three, Colnaghi is fifth in the general classification, 54 seconds behind the leader, while Magli sits seventh, at 56 seconds.
