COMUNICATO STAMPA
Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber secured another podium at the China Xizang Trans-Himalaya, with Luca Colnaghi finishing third in stage four, the 132.3-kilometre Lhoka Municipality–Gangba Village stage.
The stage ended with a reduced sprint after a crash with around 2.5 kilometres remaining split the peloton. Colnaghi stayed in the front section of the group and crossed the line in third place, behind Aliaksei Shnyrko and Raman Tsishkou.
It was Colnaghi’s first stage podium of the race, following his fifth place in the opening stage and fourth place in stage three. Thanks also to the four bonus seconds earned at the finish, the Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber rider moved up to fourth place in the general classification, 53 seconds behind new race leader Raman Tsishkou.
Filippo Magli also delivered another solid performance, completing the Top 10 in tenth place. Magli now sits eighth overall, 59 seconds behind the leader.
