Martín Santiago Herreño Polanía (born September 13, 2006, in Bogotá, Colombia) is a young and promising professional road cyclist, specializing in climbing. Born in 2006, he is regarded as a climber capable of strong performances on demanding and mountainous routes, qualities that make him an exciting prospect among the emerging talents of the professional circuit.
After a notable youth career, in 2025 he made the step up to the professional ranks with the Italian team Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber, where he continued to demonstrate his potential. Also in 2025, he achieved one of the most significant results of his season by finishing second at the Milano–Rapallo, securing his first major podium in the European racing calendar.
Herreño is closely followed both for his young age and for his climbing abilities, which could lead to further success in future classics and Grand Tours.
