A strong result for Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber at the Gran Premio del Lazio, with Luca Colnaghi taking 2nd place at the finish in Anguillara Sabazia.

After an eventful second half of the race featuring several attacks, the victory was decided in the final sprint. Colnaghi entered the final kilometre in a good position, also thanks to the work of Lorenzo Conforti, and fought for the victory before finishing behind Dorian Godon.

Luca Colnaghi: “The second half of the race was very active and the group became more selective. In the finale, I tried to anticipate, first by following an attack and then by making a move myself. Maybe it was a slightly risky decision because I used some energy that I could have saved for the sprint, but I managed to recover. In the final kilometre, Conforti helped me get into a good position. Godon launched his sprint at the same time as me and was stronger. Still, second place gives me confidence.”
