Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber concludes the Giro d’Abruzzo with an 8th-place finish for Filippo Turconi. The young Italian secured a Top 10 result in the demanding final stage, the 182-kilometre Silvi–Controguerra.

The decisive final stage saw Kévin Vauquelin take the victory. Turconi stayed with the leading riders in the key moments of the race, crossing the finish line in 8th place, seven seconds behind the winner.

The result allowed Turconi to gain one position and finish the Giro d’Abruzzo 13th overall, 32 seconds behind Vauquelin. Alex Tolio also finished well placed in the general classification, taking 16th at 38 seconds.

Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber therefore concludes four days of racing in Abruzzo, which also included Luca Colnaghi’s 4th place in Stage 3 and Turconi’s Top 10 result in the final stage.
