BARDIANI-CSF 7 SABER: TOUR OF SHANGHAI AND TOUR OF BINZHOU, FIVE RIDERS SET TO RACE IN CHINA.

From September 4 to 6, the Italian team will compete in the Tour of Shanghai – New Cities, followed by the Tour of Binzhou on September 9. Five riders have been selected by Sports Director Mirko Rossato.

Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber returns to racing in China for two consecutive events. The first will be the Tour of Shanghai – New Cities, a UCI 2.2 stage race scheduled from September 4 to 6, followed on Wednesday, September 9 by the Tour of Binzhou, a UCI 1.1 one-day race.

Five Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber riders will take part in the Chinese campaign: Matteo Turconi, Enrico Zanoncello, Manuele Tarozzi, Filippo Cettolin and Uzbek trainee Abdurahmon Nematov. Sports Director Mirko Rossato will lead the team from the team car.

Part of the UCI Asia Tour calendar, the Tour of Shanghai – New Cities will feature three stages covering approximately 290 kilometres in total and crossing five of Shanghai’s new urban areas: Jiading, Songjiang, Qingpu, Fengxian and Nanhui.

The race will begin on Friday, September 4 with the Jiading Stage, covering 95.3 kilometres. On Saturday, September 5, the riders will tackle the Songjiang–Qingpu Stage, over 94.8 kilometres, before the race concludes on Sunday, September 6 with the Fengxian–Nanhui Stage, covering 100.2 kilometres and finishing in the Dishui Lake area.
Following the Tour of Shanghai, the same five riders will continue their Chinese campaign at the Tour of Binzhou, a UCI 1.1 one-day race scheduled for Wednesday, September 9.
