Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber claimed its first podium at the Tour of Magnificent Qinghai thanks to Marco Manenti, who finished second in the race’s longest stage, covering 224 kilometres from Huangyuan to Menyuan.

On a demanding route featuring the first major climbs of the race, the Italian rider stayed with the front group before sprinting to second place at the finish. It was Manenti’s fifth podium of the season, adding to a campaign that already includes two victories and eleven top-10 finishes. Thanks to today’s result, he also moved into the lead of the points classification.

The result confirms Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber’s strong start to the Tour of Magnificent Qinghai, following the team’s double top-10 finish in the opening stage.
