Enrico Zanoncello finished fifth and Marco Manenti seventh in the bunch sprint in Xining. Alessio Martinelli was involved in a crash inside the final kilometre but escaped without injuries.
Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber made a strong start to the 2026 Tour of Magnificent Qinghai. The opening stage, held on the streets of Xining, ended in a bunch sprint, with Enrico Zanoncello taking fifth place and Marco Manenti finishing seventh, giving the team two riders inside the top 10.
A major crash occurred inside the final kilometre, involving Alessio Martinelli. Fortunately, the Italian rider was unharmed and is expected to start tomorrow’s stage.
