Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber announces the signing of Simone Raccani for the 2027 season. The Italian rider, born in Thiene (Vicenza) on March 2, 2001, joins the team after two seasons with Team UKYO, during which he achieved several notable results on the international racing calendar.

An all-round rider particularly suited to demanding courses and stage races, Raccani confirmed his abilities throughout the 2026 season. His most significant achievement came at the Tour of Armenia, where he claimed the overall classification, finishing ahead of Denmark’s Kevin Biehl and Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber rider Luca Covili.

In June, he secured a stage victory at the Tour de Gyeongnam in South Korea, finishing second in the general classification. In September, he also claimed third place overall at the Giro della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia.

His palmarès also includes two stage victories in 2025, at the Tour of Japan and the Tour de Gyeongnam, as well as third place at the Giro della Valle d’Aosta in 2022.

Simone Raccani commented:
“Joining Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber represents not only a personal achievement for me, but above all the beginning of a new chapter in my career. The past few seasons have allowed me to grow considerably, both physically and in terms of experience. I now feel I have the maturity and awareness needed to take on this new challenge and repay the trust the team has placed in me. I consider myself an all-round rider, although I particularly enjoy demanding races with plenty of climbing and challenging routes. I like testing myself in stage races, where I believe I can make the most of my strengths. One of the areas I would particularly like to improve is my ability to be more competitive in reduced-group sprints, as I believe this would help me turn strong performances into better results.
My main goal for next season is to achieve strong results in general classifications and continue improving my performances. At the same time, I want to support my teammates and contribute to the team’s goals whenever needed. I’m highly motivated and can’t wait to begin this new experience.”

With the arrival of Simone Raccani, Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber strengthens its roster for 2027, adding a rider who has already gained international experience and demonstrated his abilities in stage races.
