Enrico Zanoncello claimed third place at the Tour of Binzhou, the UCI 1.1 race held today in China. The Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber sprinter secured a podium finish in the sprint that decided the fifth edition of the race.

The victory went to Ukraine’s Serhii Sydor, ahead of Colombian Alvaro Hodeg and Zanoncello, who produced a strong sprint to take another important result in this final part of the season.

Zanoncello’s third place brings the Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber’s trip to China to a close, following the Tour of Shanghai held over the previous days. The series of races saw the Italian team consistently among the leading positions, collecting both individual and team results.

In Shanghai, Manuele Tarozzi won the general classification, while Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber also claimed the team classification. The final stage also saw two riders finish inside the Top 10, with Filippo Cettolin in 6th place and Zanoncello in 10th.

The team therefore leaves China with Zanoncello’s podium in Binzhou completing a successful trip, marked by several strong results and multiple riders playing leading roles.
