Martin Marcellusi featured prominently in the finale with an attack on the finishing circuit. Zanoncello took seventh place in the sprint in Skive.
Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber concluded the second stage of the Tour of Denmark, from Glyngøre to Skive, with Enrico Zanoncello finishing seventh.
The stage was marked by a seven-rider breakaway and strong winds, which temporarily split the peloton. On the final circuit, Martin Marcellusi moved across to the breakaway before attacking together with Lionel Taminiaux.
Their attempt was caught by the peloton with around six kilometres remaining, setting up a bunch sprint. Wout van Aert claimed his second consecutive victory ahead of Jensen Plowright and Toon Aerts.
Enrico Zanoncello crossed the line in seventh place, securing another Top 10 result for Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber.
