A strong performance by Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber in Stage 2 of the Tour of Turkey, with Lorenzo Conforti finishing 7th after contesting the sprint in the front group.

With 600 meters to go, a crash split the peloton into two groups, effectively selecting the riders at the front. Well positioned, Conforti stayed in the leading group and took part in the reduced sprint, securing a top ten result. Colnaghi was also involved in the crash but, fortunately, without any consequences.
