An aggressive day of racing for Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber at the Trofeo Serra de Tramuntana, the third round of the Challenge Mallorca, with Alex Tolio playing a leading role in the day’s breakaway.
The Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber team was among the protagonists at the Trofeo Serra de Tramuntana thanks to an attacking ride by Alex Tolio, who was active in the central phases of the race.
The rider from Treviso timed his move perfectly to join an attack that formed once the race was already at full speed, becoming part of a group of attackers that animated the race for a long time on a demanding course.
The move came to an end when the main bunch increased the pace under the impetus of the teams of the main favourites, ahead of the decisive attacks that ultimately shaped the outcome of the race.
The winner of the day was Remco Evenepoel.
