COMUNICATO STAMPA
A strong performance from Enrico Zanoncello in the second stage of the Tour of Slovenia. The Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber sprinter claimed fourth place in Ormož, remaining in contention for a podium finish until the final meters. In a particularly challenging and nervous finale, Zanoncello managed to position himself among the leaders, handling a highly competitive sprint and securing a result that confirms the team’s good form.
Enrico Zanoncello said: “It was a complicated and very nervous finale. I managed to get into a good position for the sprint, but I launched my effort a little too early and paid for it in the final meters. It’s a pity because I was feeling good, but this result still gives us confidence and we will continue working hard ahead of the next stages.”
