COMUNICATO STAMPA
Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber honored Milan–San Remo with an aggressive race from the very first kilometers, placing two riders in the day’s breakaway and animating the race for much of its nearly 300 km course.
Manuele Tarozzi and Martin Marcellusi were among the main protagonists of the early move, staying off the front for over 250 kilometers and giving visibility to the Italian team throughout the entire “Classicissima.”
For Marcellusi, this represents an important confirmation: the Roman rider had already been a protagonist in the breakaway in the 2025 edition as well, showing consistency and an aptitude for this type of race.
The team fully met its pre-race objective—to be present in the key moves and to race proactively—despite the extremely high level of the WorldTour peloton.
At the end of the race, team manager Roberto Reverberi commented:
“We raced the way we wanted, trying to be protagonists from the very beginning. Tarozzi and Marcellusi delivered a generous and highly committed performance, staying in the breakaway for a great many kilometers.”
