Bardiani-CSF 7Saber chose to focus on young riders in the first of five races at the Challenge Mallorca.

The race was severely impacted by bad weather and numerous crashes, especially in the final stages. Martin Marcellusi and Filippo Turconi were also involved, both of whom fortunately survived the accident with minor injuries.

In the sprint of the chasing group, behind the attackers, Paletti, born in 2004, performed well, finishing in 16th place. The day’s victory went to Antonio Morgado (UAE Team Emirates).

The Challenge Mallorca continues tomorrow with the second race, the Trofeo Ses Salines, a team time trial. Live broadcast on Eurosport 2 starting at 2:30 PM.
