COMUNICATO STAMPA
On Sunday, the Giro dell’Appennino gets underway, a 196.8 km race that follows its traditional route with a renewed finish at the Genoa Waterfront, reducing the flat section after the descent from Madonna della Guardia. The iconic climbs of Castagnola, Giovi, Crocetta d’Oreo, Pietralavezzara and Madonna della Guardia are all confirmed and will shape a selective finale.
Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber will line up with Luca Covili, Alex Tolio, Alessio Martinelli, Mattia Stenico, Luca Paletti and Vicente Rojas, guided in the team car by Roberto Reverberi and Alessandro Donati. The race will be broadcast delayed on RaiSport from 22:00.
On the same day, the first stage of the Tour of Türkiye also gets underway, running until May 3, with a route in line with recent editions: opportunities for sprinters alongside two summit finishes at Kıran and Feslikan, set to decide the general classification. The race will start from Çeşme and finish in Ankara.
Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber will field a young squad composed of Marco Manenti, Luca Colnaghi, Matteo Turconi, Filippo Cettolin, Lorenzo Conforti, Nikita Tsvetkov and Santiago Ferraro, under the direction of sports directors Mirko Rossato and Luca Amoriello. Live coverage on Eurosport 2 from 11:00.
