Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber completes the queen stage of the Région Pays de la Loire Tour confirming its position among the leaders of the general classification. Martin Marcellusi finished the stage in the group behind the six attackers, maintaining his fourth place overall.

Crucial for the standings was the work done in the previous stage: thanks to the time bonuses collected at the intermediate sprints, the Roman rider remains fully in contention for the top positions, with a gap of just 9 seconds to the new race leader Alexander Kamp.

The team now heads into the final stage with Marcellusi still fighting for the general classification, with all outcomes still open.
