COMUNICATO STAMPA
Bardiani CSF 7 Saber stood out in the second stage of the Giro della Sardegna, the 136-kilometre Oristano–Carbonia, featuring three categorized climbs and a demanding course that became lively from the middle part of the race.
The team raced in an active and cohesive manner throughout the day. Mattia Stenico played a key role on the Colle di Buggerru, joining the moves that shaped the most selective phase of the stage. In the finale, before the bunch regrouped for the last time, Paletti launched his own attack, making it into the front group and helping to further select the race on the final climb of the day.
After the last breakaway attempts were brought back, Bardiani CSF 7 Saber worked to set up the final sprint in the best possible way. Filippo Magli capitalized on his teammates’ effort by finishing fourth in the sprint, just off the podium.
After two stages, Paletti sits ninth in the overall classification and second in the young riders’ standings, confirming both his strong start to the race and the team’s consistent performance.
